Bona Law Retained by California Attorney General to Enforce Antitrust Laws

La Jolla, California (Oct. 5, 2022) – Bona Law has been retained by the California Attorney General to serve as co-counsel in a major price-fixing lawsuit.
Bona Law is serving as counsel in the parens patriae lawsuit filed by the California Department of Justice in 2020 alleging that multinational gasoline firms SK Energy Americas, SK Trading International, and Vitol conspired to raise gas pricing, taking advantage of market disruption following a 2015 explosion at a gasoline refinery in Torrance, California.
A trial in the matter is currently scheduled for August 2023.
