Bona Law’s Steven Cernak Recognized as Mondaq Antitrust Thought Leader

Mondaq recognized Bona Law partner Steve Cernak, leader of the firm’s Michigan-based practice, as an Antitrust Thought Leader in its Spring edition of its 2024 Thought Leadership Awards.
The Awards showcase authors around the world with exemplary readership over the last 6 months by topic. Steve was ranked in the top position for his authorship of highly popular Antitrust/Competition articles.
Some of Steve’s most recent articles discuss the revival of the Robinson Patman Act, the preservation of ephemeral materials upon receipt of a DOJ or FTC subpoena, revised HSR notification thresholds, and best antitrust practices for exchanging information via third-parties.
Steve is also Chair-Elect of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association and will become Chair later this year. In his practice, Steve represents clients with respect to merger reviews and filings, compliance, collaborations with rivals, pricing and distribution issues. Before joining Bona Law, Steve was in-house antitrust counsel for General Motors responsible for mergers, antitrust litigation, and global antitrust compliance.
